Statistics show that 25% of pets brought into the emergency veterinary clinic could have been saved if 1 pet first aid technique was applied on the scene. Would you know what to do?
It may be the most comprehensive of its kind. Important topics covered in the pet first aid courses include: immediate steps to take in an emergency, how to handle bleeding wounds and bone injuries, how to perform Artificial Respiration and CPR, what to do for poisoning and heat/cold injuries, and more. We also cover how to recognize signs of numerous illnesses as well as parasites. Last, we include an emphasis on methods of preventing illness and injury.
The best part about our course is you can bring your friendly, well-behaved dog along for a hands on learning experience! We also have a CPR Dog Dummy for real life practice!
